The dropdown menu contains the symbol "🅇" (clear cell).
"×" means "certainly not a number".
"?" means "certainly a number, but this is not yet known".

Solve puzzles:

Tap: Dropdown menu → Values.

Use the arrow keys to move the selection frame to a cell, then:
Enter, Spacebar, Ins: Empty→Question mark→Cross→Empty.

Change the value directly with one of the following keys:
