Appearance:

Default numbers (which cannot be changed) are shown in in colours other than black; the numbers you enter are shown in black colour.
The dropdown menu contains the symbol "🅇" (clear cell).
"×" means "certainly not a number".
"?" means "certainly a number, but this is not yet known".

Solve puzzles:

Left-click: Dropdown menu → Values.
Right-click: Dropdown menu → Markers.
Tap: Dropdown menu → Values.
Hold: Dropdown menu → Markers.
Use the arrow keys to move the selection frame to a cell, then:
Enter, Spacebar, Ins: Empty→Question mark→Cross→Empty.
Del, Backspace : Clear cell.

Change the value directly with one of the following keys:
